"O mal ataca novamente!" Este é o título do segundo álbum do Jackdevil que será lançado pela gravadora carioca Urubuz Records, e que define de forma elementar a essência deste próximo disco. A atmosfera sonora de "Evil Strikes Again" percorrerá em meio ao clássico e ao inovador, com letras inspiradas em todo o caos e escuridão que o nosso "Admirável Mundo Novo" está submerso. As letras que mergulham na esfera do terror cotidiano continuarão presentes no trabalho da banda, seja através do imaginário ou do real, como é o caso da faixa "Black Witch" - que expande a história narrada na faixa "Vixen of Satan", do disco anterior da banda - ou em "Death By Red Lights", uma música que narra a história de um dos mais conhecidos serial killers brasileiros, o Bandido da Luz Vermelha. Neste novo trabalho, o Jackdevil realça a existência vital do heavy metal em sua forma mais genuína e a experiência de acrescentar mais peso e energia para cada canção será notória logo na primeira audição do álbum. Com 11 faixas, este segundo full-length foi totalmente produzido e composto pelos integrantes da banda. O processo de gravação, mixagem e masterização são de autoria de Filipe Stress (bateria). Já o trabalho de arte gráfica ficou novamente por conta do desenhista Ronilson Freire, que fez a arte do Unholy Sacrifice e também responsável por traçar o herói dos quadrinhos Green Hornet/Besouro Verde com o auxílio de edição do André Nadler (voz/guitarra). "Evil Strikes Again" será mais um "full-length" dedicado aos viciados no metal que fazemos e, sem sombra de dúvidas, este registro irá refletir toda a energia e personalidade de nossa música. Dizem que um raio não atinge duas vezes o mesmo alvo, mas quando se trata de Jackdevil esse ditado cai por terra, pois o mal, ele sempre ataca novamente! O lugar é aqui, a hora é esta e este é o prelúdio de mais uma viagem através das sombras e de toda a velocidade que há no heavy metal.

"Evil strikes again!" this is the title to Jackdevil's second album, to be released by the brazilian label Urubuz Records, and defines the essence of this new record in an elementary way. The sonic atmosphere in "Evil Strikes Again" runs through both the classic and the innovative, with lyrics inspired by all the chaos and darkness that submerges our "Brave New World." The lyrics that dive deep in the circle of everyday terror are still present in the band's work, be it through the imaginary or the real, as is the case of the track "Black Witch" - which expands on the story told by the track "Vixen of Satan", from the band's previous album - or in "Death by Red Lights," a song that narrates the story of one of Brazil's most notorious serial killers, the Red Light Bandit. The instrumental of "Evil Strikes Again" was produced to sound as a truly metallic explosion, full of an even more savage and agressive speed metal than what was observed in the debut album, "Unholy Sacrifice" (2014). In this new work, Jackdevil highlights the vital existence of heavy metal in its purest form - we believe that the affinity with fast riffs and raw songs represent the musicality of the brazilian Thrash Demons. The experiment of adding more weight and energy to each song will be clear in the first hearing of the album. With 11 tracks, this second full-length was completely produced and composed by the band members. The process of recording, mixing and mastering was authored by Filipe Stress (drums). The graphic artwork was once again done by Ronilson Freire - who did the artwork for Unholy Sacrifice and is responsible for drawing the comic book hero Green Hornet - with the editing assistance of André Nadler (vocals/guitar). In four years on the road, Jackdevil has released one material per year - including the demo tape (Under the Metal Command) and the EP (Faster than Evil) - and now the time has come for the official announcement of the second complete album, which is due out in July 2015. "Evil Strikes Again" will be another full-length dedicated to those addicted in the metal we make and, without a doubt, this record will reflect all the energy and personality of our music. It is said that lightning doesn't strike the same target twice, but when it comes to Jackdevil this saying goes down, for evil always strikes again! The place is here, the hour is now, and this is the prelude to another journey through the shadows and all the speed present in heavy metal.
